I'm not. Blobs will be the next one for me unless we put together something in the meantime

I will likely be there for Warhammer Fantasy: Las Batallas de Fantasticas.

I'm planning on going. I had a great time last year, despite being too busy pwning to drink.

Didn't you play them there when you first got them too?

No, I was a ringer and never got to play them.

I wanna go i am definitely going to try to clear time for that. Is it just 35 dollars for the fantasy tournament?

Plus $35 for the weekend pass. $70 isn't too bad if you're just doing Fantasy. It's more for every event. Looks like it'll be hard to do more than 40k or Fantasy.

Nice $70 isn't bad at all, so I guess count me in.

Hopefully nothing will come up for that weekend from now until then!

I just signed up, Arlington's not to bad of a drive.

The fantasy event organizer, Scotter (He was at the Toys for Tots tournament correct?) claims to have new and innovative features... Any idea what that means?

Yeah Scooter's a good guy. Not exactly sure what he means by that though.

A Team assemble! We have another tournament to go to!

Hello all,

I'll try to keep track of this thread for any questions folks have about the Open, or the Fantasy event in particular. Scooter should be sending me the final rules/etc. he's using for Fantasy this year, with a lot of playtest and promise to back everything up. He seems quite excited about the event, which is capped at 64 players for 2012.

As an additional FYI for those who attended last year, we'll be moving Fantasy from the far deep corner of the main hall to either a brighter, more prominent location in the main hall, or - most likely - its own brightly lit room.

Finally, the hotel has added full on cell / 4g reception throughout the gaming area, and reduced room rates from $109/night to $85/night, plus there are new food options, best found at the site in the store.
