I'm in
Most people still do not know of this mirror site yet. You should post this on the official site IF you can get on.
To whom do I pay the $5?

I would do it, but I don't think my old bones can handle a full day of playing. I definitely do not want to bail on the tourney and screw up the pairings.
So I guess that means I must heckle people. If I don't, it's like a day without sunshine.
Or something. |

Hmmm, do you think it's impossible to reschedule this? I feel like with the site being down, there has been a lot of disconnect. I actually thought the tournament was next weekend as opposed to this one.
Anyways it just feels rushed. No worries if i'm the outlier. |

Rules for the Event are pretty basic.
1. NO Special or Named Characters allowed
2. WYSIWYG to the best of your ability in regards to what the model is. Does not have to be detailed, but use an appropriate model for what it is supposed to be.
3. Armies do NOT have to be painted.
4. Armies must be 2500 points (or less)...no 2502 pt lists, and must be legal lists as determined by the combination of your army book and the Rules for 8th edition Fantasy.
5. Turn in a copy of your army list and points to the Event Organizer (me in this case) with your name on it. Also, have a copy of your list to provide to your opponent as this is an open list tournament. Please make sure to bring your own dice, rule book, army book, templates, measuring tape, pen/pencil, etc. Come prepared to play.
6. Dogs of War army lists are allowed and if your army book allows for Dogs of War units in 8th edition, then that is allowed as well. Regiments of Renown are allowed as long as they are legally fielded with their appropriate army as determined by the chart in the GW CHRONICLES. Feel free to ask about legitamacy of any unit.
7. Terrain will be preset as will battlefield sides. You will roll off for deployment turn and first turn as normal. All Terrain features will follow the rules set forth in the 8th edition rulebook.
8. The Erratas and FAQs as found on the GW website SHRINE OF KNOWLEDGE will be used. In the event of a grey situation, then the ruling of the event organizer will be final.
9. Awards will be for the top scores achieved. Scores will be based on Victory Points accumulated and Objective Points achieved. There will be a top spot and a runner up spot award and a third place will be dependant on the number of participants.
10. Come to have fun and play nice with others.
There will be a total of 3 games played against random opponents. The schedule will be kept as close as possible to the following:
11:00 to 11:30 am ---- Registration & Table Set Up (need terrain, mats, and volunteers)
11:30 to 11:45 am ---- First Game Pairings Announced
12 noon to 2 pm ---- Game 1
2 pm to 2:45 pm ---- Lunch
2:45 to 3 pm ---- Second Game Pairings Announced
3 to 5 pm ---- Game 2
5 to 5:30 pm ---- Third Game Pairings Announced
5:30 to 7:30 pm ---- Game 3
7:30 to 8 pm ---- Score Tabulation and Awards (clean up, too...so volunteers needed)
Any questions...just ask....See you there _________________ Thanks,

I'm coming solely for fun, since I don't really know the rule changes, much less the proper strategy now.
That being said, would either the Ravening Hordes or Indie Chaos Dwarf lists be legal? |

The Ravening Hordes Rules are still valid.
The Indie Chaos Dwarfs are legal provided that you have the copy of the rules with you. _________________ Thanks,

I have a remedy for that in the scenarios as I was planning on Hooters anyway. _________________ Thanks,
