It is finally time for me to get a new computer. I am getting a 64-bit capable processor. Should I get the 64-bit Windows 7, or the 32-bit version? _________________ Warhammer 40K 7th edition games (W-D-L):

Joe (from Woodbridge) said you may as well get 64 bit if your processor supports it. Not every program supports 64 bit yet, but everything is heading that direction. _________________ Warhammer 40K 7th edition games (W-D-L):

No reason not to go 64 bit. Very occasionally, I'll run into a thing where I need to install a 32 bit version of an application instead a 64 bit one (I remember Flash Builder / Eclipse giving me a lot of heartburn), but it's such a rare thing. _________________ Rush - Warpstone Pile

Yep. Like I said earlier 64 bit. And to add on to what Rush was saying the only time I need a 32 bit install is when I'm making a "Preinstalled Environment" Windows boot disc. So one computer in my office is doomed to a life of less than 4 gigs of ram _________________ My Blog |
