It is finally time for me to get a new computer. I am getting a 64-bit capable processor. Should I get the 64-bit Windows 7, or the 32-bit version?

Joe (from Woodbridge) said you may as well get 64 bit if your processor supports it. Not every program supports 64 bit yet, but everything is heading that direction.

No reason not to go 64 bit. Very occasionally, I'll run into a thing where I need to install a 32 bit version of an application instead a 64 bit one (I remember Flash Builder / Eclipse giving me a lot of heartburn), but it's such a rare thing.

Yep. Like I said earlier 64 bit. And to add on to what Rush was saying the only time I need a 32 bit install is when I'm making a "Preinstalled Environment" Windows boot disc. So one computer in my office is doomed to a life of less than 4 gigs of ram Sad
