If Harry is asking then I question whether slugtongue is actually legal. or exits.
Harry has every army made, probably every model made, and certainly every rule set.

I'm going to try something different this time in regards to scenarios. I usually keep them close to the vest until the event, but I'll put them out there prior to the event....but with a catch.
In order to get an advance on the scenario, you must prepay for the event AND turn in your final army list in order to get the scenarios. Once I receive your payment via paypal (as I don't know when I will get to GPC in the near future), put your email address in the message section. I will forward a pdf of the scenarios once I get that AND an emailed copy of your army list. The payment required is only the base entry fee of $15. You can buy your mulligans and/or bonus cards the day of the event or pay for them all via paypal gift.
The idea is to allow people to get familiar with the scenarios without being able to adjust their lists.
Email lists to bjones8297@verizon.net
Paypal is the same address.
Scenarios will be ready to send February 16. _________________ Thanks,

I got my money back from Cross Roads to I can come to this now.
You should make it ETC rules since all of us seem to be going to FOWL Intentions two weeks after. Great practice opportunity. If it was ETC we could advertise it and you'd prbly get some people from outside our group showing up too. |

If I do that then I guess I won't use the mulligans and cards to boost prize support.
If majority rules, then I will change this one since we only have 8 signed up. _________________ Thanks,

I don't care either way, BUT if this FOWL tourney does continue, I can see this as an opportunity to grow our own tournament. Maybe play with a FOWL ticket for first place and as Phil says people will play here for FOWL pre -tourney perhaps.
I would think drop the Monsters and keep the mulligans and such for extra prize support as well as keeping it a bit different and your own(Ben) tournament. I don't think a few re-rolls hurts anything at all. People can use the same list but with a tweak. Can you picture if 25-30 people played at some point ....you could pay out 10 places with all the mulligan money
An idea I just had....what if you sold re-rolls as you do, but one per game for yourself and one per game for your opponent. Same six( i think that's how many you did) but slightly different, not super powerful but potentially potent. _________________ Joey

I drove up to Bowie on Saturday because they were doing an ETC practice event. Most people want o play warhammer on Saturdays I'm sure if we post it on wargammersusa we might draw some other folks in. I mean look now Gene and i are coming.
I agree with Joey keep your own spin on the tournament but i would prbly drop the monster % because etc has enough rules changes. |

Frank and I are definitely in if it will be ETC rules. I like comped events because the armies and games are different than what you get in an uncomped environment and the ETC rules are pretty straightforward (at least, compared to Swedish comp. . . .).

Ok, I will make this an ETC event. However, I will keep my spin on it as I've already written the scenarios and printed them out. It is the Ides Of March and they are fitting for that.
I will adjust the rules on the top page of this post.
I will keep the Mulligans, but cap them at 6 and still use the cards as before.
I will try to post a link to the ETC Draft on the page and will judge all lists based on the same Draft that FOWL will be using. So this Friday, when they post the final draft for them, that is what we will use.
I will do exactly like they do as for scoring. If the list is sent to me by Thursday, March 13, then bonus points will be given. If the list is wrong, then points will be deducted. If on the day of, your list is turned in and found to be wrong, even more points will be deducted. _________________ Thanks,
