So I've only started looking at these rules today but I hope someone can help me out with a question.

What does this mean? I'm curious about warmachines and the hellcannon specifically.

Does the following me no more than 1 hell cannon and no more than 4 of the group? Thats how I'm seeing it but I wanted see what you guys thought.

Chaos Dwarfs (The Legion of Azgorh)
• K'daai Destroyer/War Machine/Hellcannon (max 1)/Chalice of Blood and Darkness, max 4
• Chalice of Blood and Darkness (counts as 2)/Death magic in the army/Dispel Scroll, max 2
• Ashstorm can’t be cast with more than 4 Power Dice

When I look at it I'm not sure if it is saying that I can take one total of either a Destroyer, or a warmachine, or a hell cannon, or if any of those choices would each be worth 1 point out of the 4, or if those options (destroyer, war machine, or hellcannon) are restricted to a maximum of one of each (meaning no doubles?). In the case of warmachines would it mean I get only one warmachine or that I can't duplicate any of them?

I'm confused. Help?

• K'daai Destroyer/War Machine/Hellcannon (max 1)/Chalice of Blood and Darkness, max 4 (You can take a total of 4 choices from this list, however only one can be a Hellcannon. IE. 3x K'daai and 1x Hellcannon or 1 K'daai, 1 Hellcannon, Chalice and one other Warmachine, or Chalice and 3 warmachines of which only one can be a Hellcannon)

• Chalice of Blood and Darkness (counts as 2)/Death magic in the army/Dispel Scroll, max 2 (You can choose 2 from this list but the Chalice counts as 2. IE. Chalice or 2 Lore of Death Casters, or 1x Lore of Death and a D. scroll)

• Ashstorm can’t be cast with more than 4 Power Dice (you can never use more than 4 dice to cast a spell from this lore.)

Does it count towards the 12 power dice max? and does it count towards the 5 power dice max per spell?

I just want to bring attention to these sections of the rules packet that discusses the different scores, especially the Admin scores. The Game Result sheets have been reworded so that they will be easier to fill out. You will calculate your Victory Points as normal and write that in the space the says "Victory Points Earned". Once you have your difference in VPs worked out, then consult the chart on the scenario. You will write that score in the appropriate space under "Game Points (0-20). This number will be a number between 0 and 20. Finally, on the bottom of each scenario page there are 4 possible objectives that will give you a point each if achieved. Add up all of these bonus objectives that you achieved and enter that number in the space for "Scenario Bonus Points". This number will be between 0 and 4. Once these numbers are written on the sheet, turn it in. DO NOT ADD THESE NUMBERS! Every year somebody does this and it throws a wrench into the scores. Razz

"VICTORY!:

The Overall WINNER will be determined by the total accumulation of points during the event. The Player with the highest score will be the WINNER. The Total Points will be a combination of Battle Points, Bonus Points, Admin Points, and Player’s Choice Points. Any Ties in total Points will be decided by who accumulated the most Victory Points.

Battle Points:

These are determined by the ETC Table as posted on each Scenario Sheet. This will be a value of 0-20 points.

Bonus Points:

These are Objective Points for accomplishing a preset action during the game. These are posted at the bottoms of each Game Scenario. Up to 4 bonus points per game.

Administrative Points:

These points are for helping the event run smoothly and fairly. Admin Points can add or subtract from your Overall Score. They are broken down as:
- Entry Fee paid by 3/13/14 +5 points
- Army List Submitted by 3/13/14 +5 points
- Incorrect or Illegal Army List Submitted -10 points
- Incorrect or Illegal Army List Submitted the Day of the event-15 points
- Players who turn in Game Result Sheets prior to “Time” being Called +5 points
- Players who have to Redo their Game Result Sheet due to errors -2 points
- Players who Do NOT turn in their Game Result Sheets within 10 minutes of “Time” Being called -5 points
- Players who Do NOT label their Army with their Name for Judging -3 points

Player’s Choice Points:

Painting is not required, nor judged. However, each Player’s Army will be judged by their fellow players for Army Composition, Painting, Conversions, Theme or whatever makes that army stand out to them. Players will score other's armies by ranking them Best to Worst. Each Rank is worth a set number of Points. Each player's total of all rankings will be divided by the number of players. This will be added to the overall score. Players must use the Player’s Choice sheet and rank the best at #1 and so on. Do not vote for yourself and please be sure to make sure that you have all Players accounted for on your sheet."

If you got the email with the scenarios and packets, be sure to print those and bring them with you. Thanks

Yeah, it was a lot of fun. I hope FOWL will be this fun but when people are hyper competitive I have my doubts.

Can we get the final results? I had to leave after my last game to get a car.

Thank you to all who came out to participate. I enjoy putting these on and I hope they helped people practice for upcoming events. Congrats to Gene and Phil for showing us how broken Orcs and Goblins and Tomb Kings are. Wink

I'd like to again give a real big Thank You to Harry for coming out and helping as a ringer and for supporting the event with all that awesome product for raffle prizes.
