Personally I would never run the 2 systems together. Each should have their own event. This cuts down on space and material requirements plus allows those who play both sides a chance to do both. I ran one 40k event with the old IFL with Andy's help and I never seen such crybabies when it came to rules, objectives, and pairings. From what I hear, that is a whole different type of crowd when it comes to tournaments. I'd gladly admin for that, but someone else would have to be point. _________________ Thanks,

I love 40k, but I agree with Ben. Don't get me wrong
There are a lot of really cool 40k players. However as a whole the competive players
are a larger portion of the overall group. The level of competiveness
is a lot higher. That is just the nature of their tournaments.
It is how the majority prefers it, and that is just not in mine
or Ben's nature and the majority of our group. I would
however be open to adding Infinity or x wing. |

Everyone one bring your thoughts on the GT to the Colonial(if your going) and maybe we can head out for dinner and a Beer Saturday night while we are all in one place and hash out some thoughts.
What do you guys think? _________________ Joey

Sorry that I am not going to be able to join you guys this weekend (by the way... GO C-GL!!! Good Luck to everyone!)
I just wanted to throw my hat into the ring to help. Whether I can be there or not is up in the air. I thought I remembered this happening possibly in October and I have a trip already planned around Columbus Day. None the less, I am happy to help and donate materials for terrain building.
If it turns out I am available I am also willing to assist with the organizing and executing the paint judges.. I mean 'judging.'
Glad to help any way I can.

Your plans for the whole weeks around Columbus day(Monday the 12th)? We were tentatively planning the 17 and 18th I think I remember, the weekend following Columbus day.
I was hoping you could help with executing painters
Actually told Ben (and I think Gene) I thought you would be a perfect fit for that to help out. I think you are an awesome painter and have been on the wrong end of paint judging, something we don't want to occur here _________________ Joey

Hey Joey,
Unfortunately I am already committed and will be out of town from the 10th of October to the 18th. The chances of those days shifting are limited because we have already put a deposit down for the trip.
That doesn't mean I can't help, but if the days are set then I am unlikely to be able to be there on the days of the tournament. Still if you think of a way that I can be helpful, please let me know.
Cheers and good luck to everyone this weekend! _________________ All hail, WARHAMMER is Dead. Long live WARHAMMER! |

Unfortunately not; I have a family commitment that weekend. However, I am always glad (and frankly looking forward) to giving people practice games. I have already got a 3K list up and read to roll!
Cheers and have a great weekend! _________________ All hail, WARHAMMER is Dead. Long live WARHAMMER! |

How many Cannons does this 3k brawlers list entail? _________________ WOC 7-2-2 |

Speaking philosophically, 3 cannons, 2 organ guns would be pretty standard, plus perhaps couple of grudge throwers. Then I would expect to see 40+ longbeards to fill out core. Probably two runesmiths and 2 engineers, one for each organ gun. This is a typical dwarf gun line type of list.
If you are talking about what I would run, I'm looking at one cannon and one organ gun and one engineer _________________ All hail, WARHAMMER is Dead. Long live WARHAMMER! |
