La Quinta is what I have heard was the best price and closest too. I will be getting my room this week there.
As far as my assassin, I think I will use my war master sized Papa Nurgle. He is green and on my 25 mm base size as well. Will fint in with my Nurgle Warriors nicely.

Very different list. I like it. Terrorgheists, Hexwraiths are scarey additions. And Lore of Undeath too, I may be the only person without it

If my hands were not tied in regards to painting, I'd have taken the VC list. Therefore, I had to stick with Legions of Chaos list. Changed around a bit...don't know if I like it, but I had to do something as time was running out.
Chaos Lord of Tzeentch on Disc. General. Sword of Striking, Helm of Many Eyes, Talis of Preservation, Third Eye, TOTS, Flaming Breath, & Soul Feeder (400 pts)
Kholec Suneater (545 pts)
Doombull of Nurgle. Fencer's Blades, Blackened Plate, Talis of Endurance, & Gnarled Hide (345 pts)
Trolls x8 with additional hand weapons (304 pts)
Slug Tongue (190 pts) Level 2 - Lore of Undeath
Chaos Sorcerer. Dispel Scroll & Ruby Ring (195 pts) Level 2 - Lore of Undeath
Exalted Hero of Nurgle. Battle Standard. Hideous Visage (FEAR) & Shield (153 pts)

I'm really banking on Slugtongue damaging lone characters, war machines, and chaff before the game begins. That, coupled with the Chalice of Dark Rain, hopefully will get my guys into combat quickly. Kholec can take at least 2 cannon/warmachine shots so that frees up all my other forces to move in. I had to take out the hellcannon despite myself. I just can't take the chance of it blowing up all my troops again. In this format, it would be subject to cannon fire which is 50/50 for me. Its base was 150x100 where Kholec's is only a 50x50. A little harder to hit. With movement 8, WS 8, S8 and 7 attacks that are multiplied into D3 wounds, I should be able to take down a few things. With all wizards casting Undeath, I should be able to raise a few chaff items if nothing else. We'll see.
When is the next practice day?

Ben you have the most unconventional lists! I have to say though, it's hard to argue with the success you had at Colonial Carnage.
We have this week, this weekend coming up, and the following week for games.
I'll prbly play 2 next Saturday, and at least once during the week each week.
If you want to schedule a game let me know. |

I don't like not having the 3+ ward or the ASF on my doom bull, but Frank showed me that needing 5 & 6's to hit tends to save your guy, too. Slug tongue is the cheeky thing in the list. I could actually hear Franks sphincter tighten as I made my rolls. Funny thing is that without a BSB at Colonial, I never failed a leadership that I didn't want to. Put in a BSB and I fail just about every one. I probably panicked after my game test, but now I'll have to use skill. Uh oh

Only thing I know is that my 2 DP characters are heading for the Big Uns with the flaming banner. May take a turn or 2 but a 2+ and unbreakable should get em eventually probably will just lose everything else to Doom Divers

My favorite part of the list is the skull wand. Take a leadership test and pass it or die. This happens before the combat starts. No saves of any kind.
