What was wrong with the one you were married to before? She seemed nice enough.

Equals much longer games. Fun for 1 game, tough to get 3 in 1 day Wink

It'd be nice to play against the youtube celebrities. But completely uncomped I just don't think I have a chance with any of my armies (beasts, brets, wood elves). Some things, like portal glyph Epdidemus, I'm not sure how to deal with.

Brawler bash is always 3k isn't? Those guys sounded like a lot of fun when they had their podcast going.

Yes 3K but no grand army is the standard format for Brawler Bash.

Win/loss doesn't matter, only points destroyed and bonus scenario points

I was there last year, it was a lot of fun

Brawler Bash is a Warhammer Fantasy Battles Grand Tournament held May 31st - June 1st at Atomic Empire in Durham, NC. It's a 3,000 point, no holds barred weekend of fun for $35.00, so don't miss out. Atomic Empire is currently working on setting up their new payment site, and we'll send out another email when that is up and running in the next two weeks.

We are also pleased to hold the Brawler Bash Doubles Tournament this year on Friday, May 30th. You can sign up for the doubles tournament along with your regular Brawler Bash ticket. The doubles tournament costs $10.00 for individuals and $20.00 for a team. You can sign up with a teammate or, if you sign up as an individual, be assigned a teammate at the tournament. The Brawler Bash scenarios will be used.

To get your name on the list for this year's Bash, please email bullcitywargaming@gmail.com or post on the Atomic Empire Forums or WargamersUSA forums.

The sustainable center guy is bringing Bretonians to Brawlers too. You'll have a rival Gene! His rant is pretty amusing too.

Wow that guy hates Skaven huh? He also is loving some Bret's and hates the lack of an update as most of us do I guess.

I did not know that all their stuff was removed from their website Shocked
Doesn't that usually mean that new models, or an update is coming?

It also could mean they're getting rolled into a single book like they did in 40k with the Black Templars. They're now part of the Space Marine book, so it wouldn't be surprising if they merged another two books.

NO SPECIAL CHARACTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It appears that you can already reach the page to pay for the tournaments through the Atomic Empire page (as some enterprising individuals figured out), so I'm going to go ahead and give out the pay sites so that everyone can pay, instead of waiting until Saturday. Also note that the player's pack has had a few changes:

http://www.bullcitywargaming.com/BBVIIPack.pdf

The main change that we implemented, after a lot of player feedback and thought, was to ban special characters at this year's Bash. Our hope is that this will lead to a wider variety of lists at this year's tournament.

I've also upped the player limit to 128. Several clubs and individuals have contributed terrain to help this happen. I have no plans to increase it further at this time, and would be hard pressed to do so in the future. We might be able to do so past this year, but we've doubled in size each year for the past two years, and I want to make sure that we can still run a quality event.

The link to sign up for and pay for the Brawler Bash VII GT is www.atomicempire.com/event.aspx?evnt=52

The link to pay for the Friday Doubles tournament is
www.atomicempire.com/event.aspx?evnt=65

We currently have 110 people signed up for the Bash. I expect we'll hit the 128 player cap. Only a paid registration will hold you a spot.

Tom and I look forward to seeing all of you at this year's Brawler Bash!
