I'd definitely like to play a tournament, but have no idea when/where they'll be. Has it been long enough to have another one at GPC? _________________ Just call me Mike.

I can't think of any reason not to have one. _________________ Rush - Warpstone Pile

In fact, tell you what: let me check what July looks like and I'll run one. _________________ Rush - Warpstone Pile

That would be awesome. Guess I'd better get the last models and break out the brush to actually finish an army. _________________ Just call me Mike.

Found these on GW's website for the tournament circuit, this year within some proximity of a driving distance. Some were 1 day and some 2 I just jotted down start date. These are the fantasy ones, but some were paired with 40k too.
July, 9th
The Big Show
Media, PA
August 25th
NoVa
Crystal City(DC)
Sept 24th
Battle for Blob's Park
Jessup, MD
November 4
Mechanicon
West Chester, PA
November 19
Border Raids
Media, PA
I may try the Border raids one. We drove up there before and played with them. I think it was "Big Gunz" club that put it on?? It was a pretty kool tourny gathering.
I may be interested in the Mechanicon one too. Just thought it was mainly 40k though. Anyone played there before?? _________________ Joey

Casey's had really good experiences at Mechanicon, IIRC. While I've never been, I've met the guys running it, and they're good folks.
Not going to the NoVA? _________________ Rush - Warpstone Pile

How does 7/16 sound?
Any other interest? Not much point in doing it if not enough people are showing up to make it worthwhile. _________________ Rush - Warpstone Pile

Scheduling conflict. My Fantasy football draft is the same day and I have been doing that for like 20 years with the same guys. _________________ Joey

Awesome count me in. Maybe make a separate post for IFL tourny to gage the interest?? _________________ Joey

I was at the 2009 Mechanicon and had a lot of fun. I heard from some of the IFL guys that the 2010 Mechanicon had problems but most of those seemed to be problems that were unique to that year or would otherwise be fixed. The guys that run it are pretty nice and a lot of them were at The Colonial and helped supply terrain.
I would make it out this year but Ashley and I are having our big wedding that weekend a few miles from where it's being held. I don't think she'll let me skip out on that for 40k |

I would go to a CGL tourney unless there was a painting requirement, cus, let's face it. I'm better at forums than I am painting.

I'll try to figure out a date in September for the long-postponed Army-Swapper tournament. It will rock, should it ever actually take place.
