The Keystone GT 2015: Meltdown In Chocolate Town July 11th-July12th!
Hey all! So this was going to be The Colonial GT. After we made the announcement, we were offered to purchase the rights of the name for Colonial. However we have already done most of the legwork and will be building our own terrain and tabletops. Therefore, I present to you: Nerdhammer.net Presents: The Keystone GT 2015: Meltdown in Chocolate Town

What: Nerdhammer.net Presents: The Keystone GT 2015 - Meltdown in Chocolate Town
When: Friday July 10th - Sunday July 12th; start times TBA. Hall will open Friday.
Where: Holiday Inn Hershey/Harrisburg - Grantville, PA
Price - $65
Lodging: Days Inn Grantville, see below for explanation
Total spots - 50. If we fill up these spots we will try to open up more spots.
Tourney Info: 2500 Points, 5 rounds (3 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday). We will be using Swedish comp, undecided on comp range and other specifics. In addition to giving out the typical awards for best overall, etc, we will be giving out a Best Club Award. This is going to go to the Gaming Club that has the best average score among its attendees.
Registration will open on January 1st. We will have info on how/where you register in the next week or so. Keep checking back here for updates.
We will be having FREE BEER (2 kegs) on Saturday because you are not permitted to bring your own alcohol into the ballroom (PA and hotel policy). You can bring as much as you want to your guest room.

We initially had rooms reserved at the venue hotel, however after we had booked and confirmed they called us back and informed us they didn't have any rooms available. Rather than messing with the date again or moving the entire tournament (which we did try but was not feasible) we were able to secure block rooms at the Days Inn in Grantville, which is less than half a mile from the Holiday Inn. I know its not ideal, but at least you won't be driving more than a minute to get to the GT. We plan on making this a yearly GT, and plan on holding it the weekend after July 4th weekend. In booking a year in advance we hope not to run into the issue with rooms again.
