I guess I didn't play right. Only saw 4 people that didn't get a favorite player vote 
But.....I only got 1 less vote than Gene and he always does well, so I feel a tad bit better😊
Overall, I had a good time. I will go back next Year. We also did well as a Club owning 25% of the top 20 spots😄

Our club took the following (I don't think I missed anything)
Best Demon - Brad
Best Warriors - Phil Snow (in his 1st GT)
Best Legion of Chaos - Joey
Best Vampire - Phil Blake
Most Characters killed - Joey
2nd best Painting - Brad
2nd best players choice paint - Brad
Best Sportsman - Brandon
and let's not forget an honorable mention for Corey, who left us hanging, and Best Cat, Frank 
I forgot to mention... they do a "prize" each round for things like first caster to get sucked into the warp, first to lose their general.... that kind of thing. CGL took 3 of the 5 disaster awards! Great job guys.

I got into multiple rules "discussions" with three of my opponents, and had to call a judge over. I was correct on all of them, but if judges get involved in a game your not getting a favorite player vote. You can be friendly, let them go back and shoot a unit they forgot, remind them to move a unit, even warn them what a mangler does to units lined up an inch apart, but all they remember is they got "screwed" on a rules question. |

I hear ya there. Had two games with judges questions, but I thought 1 was mutual, and the other was the same as yours. Maybe they just don't like being questioned at all.
I also probably got some votes lost for calling 2 (or 3) opponents bad sports. I did not ding them on the sheet though as they should have seen. And 1 of them I put a favor opponent on my vote sheet. I just think it's wrong when people shout out to roll a misfire (or whatever is negative) while you are rolling your dice and I told em so. We all think it, just keep it inside and be a good sport. Just my opinion.

How did Gene have 0 monsters killed? he Killed Gaulrich and a Chimera at least in round 5. I would think if a demon prince coutneted as a monster and a character Gaulrich would have been the same

It was fun over all. I would have done well in regular scoring, but when my army faced 3 Demi Stank knight armies in a row...I was t getting any victory points there. Live and learn. All I know is that slugtongue will start making appearances everywhere and I want it known that I started it (good or bad). Hahaha

Overall it was a lot of fun and I was happy to see I did well with the painting part. I guess I just have to rebase a few things for the next one.

I did not kill any till the last game when I killed 2 Chimera's, Gaulrich, and the dragon the chaos lord was riding.
Either I missed writing it down or they missed it... I'm going with the error being mine, but since it doesn't matter I'm not going to say anything. |

I still think play of the century went to Gene. He had a WoC Disclord in his Black Orc group and he aimed a rock lobba at Gaulrich. He missed with the rock and it scattered 10 inches right to the top of the engaged disclord and the guy rolled a 2 for his ward save killing him in one fell swoop.

Yeah, not sure how that happened, apparently they liked my conversions, and new ManEaters. I was overall very happy with the painting. My playing... well that could have gone a lot better.
