Got the approval. Count me in.
Probably Warriors of Chaos since I won't have time between now and then to put together a Wood Elf Dragon.

Thanks, but I'm hoping to have 25 new chaos warriors painted by then, so I'm gonna field them. Plus, the last couple of times I've used my Woodies hasn't ended so well.
And nothing says bad ass like a WoC Lvl 4 Tzeentch wizard.
Although, some of the abilities in the Storm of Magic book is pretty awesome for Wood Elves.
Anyway, thanks for the offer.

I've a question, if you are interested in a character on a dragon, does it have to be a character that is given a dragon option from your book? Would this dragon come out of the regular points?
Could I buy a bad ass chaos lord and consider his mount already purchased?
If I play chaos dwarves, am I able to mount one of these characters on a dragon from the storm of magic options?
Just wondering.... _________________ Gun control is leaving your demonsmith engineers close enough to re-roll the scatter on your artillery. |

Alrighty, that is good to know. Can I assume that a Chaos lord on dragon will not be charged for his beast? _________________ Gun control is leaving your demonsmith engineers close enough to re-roll the scatter on your artillery. |

the 2000 points remaining is a legal list so all other points, including ridden dragon are counted towards that 2000 point total _________________ I lose cause I can

This will give those armies that can normally field dragons to get a "bonus" dragon...they are more accustomed to these beasts. It allows other armies the opportunity to field a dragon, as most dwarfs for example, would typically prefer to shoot the beast than to ride it.
I think Bill is doing it a little different this year, but I could be wrong. _________________ Thanks,

As Ben said, take the Chaos Lord on the Dragon and the Storm of Magic - Dragon Wars dragon is a bonus. Now they have to kill 2 dragons to win the game. Bad news is that if they do, they get 2 times the points towards the tournament _________________ Joey

However, with only 500 pts available for lord choices, you may not have enough for that chaos lord on a dragon. _________________ Thanks,

Ben and Joey are correct.
Things are different this year, the Storm of magic dragon was a gift from the dark sister to dragon wars. It has put everyone on level ground. I also made the point level 2000 to make it difficult to take a second dragon.
Phil, you can still take your cool conversion as your storm of magic dragon. _________________ I lose cause I can |

Bill,
Correct me if I'm wrong, but are the following dragon rules still applicable?
1. 3+ ward save in lieu of normal armor save
2. No muliple wounds in a single phase other than combat
3. Magic weapons have no effect on dragons
Also, since the SoM dragon can't be ridden, and the breath weapon is now a One Use Only...Does it get a reprieve from having to shoot or be in combat by turn 3? Will this go to turn 4 or how will you work this one? _________________ Thanks,

1. correct
2. correct
3. correct
4. you will still have to shoot or attack by turn 3, but you will not have to do it every turn after that. Because it is impossible to hide in 8th _________________ I lose cause I can |

You won't. The Lord+Dragon is well over the 25%. That's barebones, no magic items, nothing.
Don't know about a Manticore tho... which is a standard choice now. But if you're going to do that, might as well just get the Disk of Tzeentch or the Steed of Slaanesh.
