Post here if you are going to the Battle at Blob's Park in Jessup, MD, on September 24, and what system you will be playing. For ease, post your name. I want to compile the list of players from our group to turn in so that they will not put us against each other in the first round. Thanks.

When I payed with PayPal I added a note(option is by the address) to let them know I was CGL. I also signed on their forum as "joeman CGL"...recognize.
Also Azric said he payed as well, not sure if he has joined the Seagull rank and files yet though _________________ Joey

Yeah, when I paid, it didn't give me the option to put a message or a note with the payment.
We'll adopt Eric (Azric) _________________ Thanks,

Woo Hoo! Is there an initiation ceremony?
Actually, this will be my first time going to a local tournament and my first tournament under 8th ed.
Also, I am signed up for the fantasy (Dwarfs).

Ashley has informed me that her and I are going to this.
We're in for 40k.
I would love to car pool. I don't drink so I can DD as well for any that are considering staying later to celebrate / mourn the day. |

I thought my allotment of tournaments for the year was filled up with the 2-day NoVa Open... However, since I had to miss the second day when Irene dropped a tree on top of my car, I think there's a good chance I can get another pass for something. Even though I'm not that keen on Capital Gaming events, it is a GT qualifier, and might end up doing it after all.... _________________ There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged.

C'mon Eric, lets fill this thing up. Trying to talk Mark and Harry into going too. Get your pumpkin and bring the mice along to pull it and lets get a CGL person to win this thing. _________________ Joey

I have no idea where the Cinderella reference is coming from. We've got a really good shot for a CGLer to win it all, I'd say.

Okay, this is the last two days to sign up and get in on the Blob action! Who else is going to represent? Mark? Harry? Corey? Cody? _________________ Thanks,

So out of curiosity, has anyone been to this venue before? I thought I read somewhere that this was an outdoor event (don't quote me though) and i heard that they are forecasting rain for Saturday.
I was just wondering if anyone knew what we should expect. _________________ All hail, WARHAMMER is Dead. Long live WARHAMMER! |

Expect it to be like a big field party under a tent cover. Bring a folding chair and cover as it will probably be wet. Check it out on Google Maps and you can see a satelite view....its a field. They told me that it will be under a tent. So, 200 people crammed under a tent will be "fun". Bring a small cooler for drinks and/or snacks just in case. I don't know the drainage situation, but I wouldn't plan on putting your display boards on the ground without putting something under them. This will be my first outdoor event, so I'm going to Boy Scout it and prepare for everything. I went to Colonial which was indoors and the ceiling collapsed due to a pipe break....so I'm used to my stuff getting wet. _________________ Thanks,
