Hey - I just checked to see what the parking situation will be at the NoVa open, and it sounds like there should be enough space, but it's not free. I think they said it was $16 per day at the hotel, no in-and-out allowed, and there are other commercial lots around the area as well. I thought about taking metro, but I can see how that could easily turn out to be a disaster, even without taking rain into consideration.

I live in Alexandria, about 5-10 minutes away from the event. I've got sufficient space for parking 2-3 additional vehicles if anyone is interested in a car pool of some sort.

PM if interested.

I'd be interested, but I think I'm only going to drive in today; I've got someone I can leave my stuff with overnight, so I'll probably metro in Sat/Sun.

Let me know if plans change... If you're staying somewhat near my place we could probably swing by and pick you up from there instead of you taking the metro during hurricane-related wind and rain.
