I wonder why they changed the points limit... _________________ Warhammer 40K 7th edition games (W-D-L):

Probably because the 11th Company GT is going to be 1999+1. And it looks like the GT uses NOVA Open missions so thats probably why they're doing NOVA missions as well in the RTT. _________________ My Blog |

1999+1, oh boy. That means go big or stay home. If you thought the army builds at NOVA were bad... _________________ Warhammer 40K 7th edition games (W-D-L):

When I hear 1999+1, I want to travel back in time and cockpunch their father. _________________ Tone on the internet can be a bitch. Honest, I am not Nerd Raging. Well, maybe not. |

Just got back from Huzzah and was told that the new SM book is able to be used for this.

I love how they post up the information like 4 days before the tournament from the link:
Quote: | Just wanted to remind everyone that our monthly RTT at Huzzah hobbies is approaching this Sunday! Since NOVA season has ended for now, we will be switching to 2k, (1999+1) so no double FOC.
As a note, I will be allowing the new vanilla marines codex, so if interested, feel free to bring it.
as always - registration starts at 10am, first game at 1045. Entry is 15 and covers lunch. The rest is rolled directly into prize support. As usual we do not require any painting or fancing basing.
For those interested in proxying models, as long as you don't have any other models of that type in your army, and they have a passing resembelance to the models being proxied, proxies are O.K. |

So, I guess I won't be going to the Huzzah tournaments after all! _________________ Rush - Warpstone Pile

1999+1 is kind of lame, but 2k can still be fun _________________ My Blog |

I don't think the switch to 1999+1 is permanent. I think it's more about them just doing whatever is coming up in terms of tournaments. I'll ask for a 1750 tournament next time because that's what Mechanicon is. _________________ The Hammer Dialectic - Thoughts on Warhammer, Professional Wrestling, and Dialectical Materialism.
