|
|
We will be kicking off the Warhammer Fantasy Campaign on Saturday the 22nd of February.
DATE: 2-22-2011 @1800
LOCATION: Game Parlor Chantilly
You will need to bring the following:
*A legible preferred (Army Builder is fine) printed copy of your army list for Banner #1 (please also give it a name) to give to me. Note all Banners will be 2500pt.
*A copy of your Capitols Garrison (please also give it a name) 1500pt
*You might also want to think about Banner #2 and Banner #3 if we happen to get a couple of Campaign Seasons in on Saturday you will need a few more army lists.
*Bring a copy of the Campaign map and the Campaign rules. I will have both but more than one copy would be helpful.
*Dont forget to bring your army just in case.
What will we be doing?
*Selecting the starting territories (by lots).
*Rolling for seasonal spells
*Espionage rolls
*Spring (if not more) moves
*Hopefully we will get a game or two in
If your a Neutral send me a PM if you think you might be able to be there for the kick off.
Here is a link to the Campaign Map

What allowances will be made for folks who can't make it out on Saturday? _________________ Rush - Warpstone Pile

This is a trollish post, but I was looking over your blog Rush and couldn't help but look at your skaven list. Sorry to say but poison attacks don't stack with the magic weapon. |

Yes, i will collect your army lists before hand and the like. You can give me your top 5 territories your interested in (actually as a Skaven player your choice is 2 in the mountains) and your first seasons moves for each. I will roll your winter events.
After the Kick off seasonal spells & event rolls will take place on both Tuesdays & Saturdays...however if you can make it for the kickoff that be great. _________________ Check out my blog

Over on the IFL board, there is an announcement of a WHFB tournament on FEb 19. I'll try to cross-post those details here later on.
You might want to consider moving the start date of the campaign by a bit if folks here are interested in travelling to GV that day. _________________ There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged.
One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs. |

Got an idea....why not postpone the start to Tuesday the 22nd and use the tournament event at Game Vault to assist with the campaign seeding. If you go then you'll choose your territory in order by how you placed at the GV Event. If you don't go, then you will be choosing with the other "bottom feeders" based on lots. _________________ Thanks,

I can do Tuesday, wanted Saturday as people can be there at 1100. Lets make it Tuesday then at 6pm. It will work out the same way, give people who cannot be there because of whatever reason (events, children, wifes) We just wont get as much in but thats ok. _________________ Check out my blog

That sounds great to me.
And good catch Corey. I'd missed that. _________________ Rush - Warpstone Pile

Can Banner 2 and 3 be the same list as no.1? I am working with limited models at this time. I will of course have many more as the time passes, always have way more than needed
I would of course have different names for the subsequent banners and characters will be easy to add on and change but units will be rough as I am pushing towards Colonial with painting and modelling. _________________ Joey

Of course if you want to make them all the same army lists thats cool; figure people will make it close however they just need to be kept separate for experience and the like. Now I mean of you happen to have 10K worth of models cool...
