I really really really liked getting that 20% discount at GPC! I bought too much stuff, but after all the belly aching about them needing to do a sale...I felt obligated. Oh well, I got some cool stuff cheap.

I would have liked it more if they actually had stuff stocked that I wanted besides the 40k Predator 
Seriously though, it is a good step. The occasional sale never hurt any business.

I agree would have been nice if it was two weeks from now as i would have bought more. still i filled in some gaps for my 40k armies...20% off now and then works for me...

I believe it ends Saturday, so get there soon. Pretty much the entire store is 20% off and comics are 50% off. Food, tables, gift certs, and a few other items are exempt as well. There is a box of iron guts and leadbelchers there that I would have bought if I hadn't just gotten some. 20% off on skaven aboms are nice! Lots of daemon stuff and elf stuff left....I had that lion chariot in my hand, but I had to put it back in favor of something else.  sucks to be on a budget.

hope it was not an attempt to reduce stock to reduce size of store, like woodbridge

IIRC, they've got at least another year on their current lease. And Sean mentioned that, hey look at that: the sale was doing what it was supposed to (getting people to buy [censored]).
