Hey all,
Moving the fiance's stuff out of her DC apartment and into virginia. The tough stuff include a sofa that's 7 feet long, and a mattress and box spring that's a little over six feet long.
I'm in need of a vehicle that could move the items, not necessarily the manually labor. Any help, including cheap referrals, would be appreciated. |

Well, I was going to offer manual labor, but I have trouble fitting my warhammer stuff in my car, so I don't think a 7 foot couch has much of a chance. _________________ They see me trollin', they hatin'

Are you moving to, or from, a third floor apartment? _________________ Joey

Moving FROM a 4th floor (elevator down to 1st floor though, don't have to worry about stairs thankfully) to a 1st floor apartment. Moving from DC, to an apartment in Shirlington.
If you can fit something with the dimensions I posted above, then i'll get back to you on times. It's a weird moving schedule, as she has to be out of her apartment for the new subleter before she has access to the new apartment, so the timing on moving the bed (to my current apartment) and moving the couch (to the new apartment) might be different times. Let me get back to you.
EDIT: Oh and thanks for the quick response guys, I owe you some beer. |

Hmmm, so basically I need help sometime between now and next Tuesday (Tuesday being the last day to move everything except the couch). By then I should only really have the bed to take. The couch I would need help closer to June 8th, so I've got some time there.
If Sunday works then that would be awesome. Thoughts? You guys rock by the way. |

I can't do anything this Sunday as I'll be doing yardwork at the Mom-in-Law's. _________________ Thanks,

Hmmm if you were willing this Saturday then I could move some stuff around. Then again if Joey can help Sunday then that would work too. It's only really going to be moving a bed. |

If its only the bed, how about Friday evening? I can be over by 6ish. Or early Saturday morning, i need to be home by 11:30 or so for the arrival of the Grandbaby for her weekend visit. _________________ Joey

Alright gang! The second phase of the move is happening. I need a big truck to help move a couch with the dimensions listed above. That's the only item I really need assistance with, and I could do it any time this weekend.
This is an obnoxiously large couch, that is more cumbersome than anything. But at least it's only one item RIGHT!? RIGHT!? |

I wish you lived closer and I could help. This weekend is booked with graduation parties and the wife's orders are that I must attend. Sorry, Dude. _________________ Thanks,

I'd be all over this if I wasn't out of town this weekend. Good look in your quest. _________________ Gun control is leaving your demonsmith engineers close enough to re-roll the scatter on your artillery. |
