The tournament would be 2 weeks after 6th Ed comes out, rumors have 6th coming out on 7/7, so the tourn would be the 21st. I figure by them most people have read the rules and played a couple of games but aren't 100% yet. If the rumors are false the date will change if there is availability at the store.
1,000 points lists,
Pairings will be random. You can take as long as you like and once you are finished you will get iine to get the next player in line. This way people can take as long they like since there will be tons of people looking up the rules.
You can change your list or even your army, but you have to have it finalized before you come up for you next match.
Each game you will roll of using the missions in the new rule book.
You get
15 points for a win
10 points for a die
5 points for a loss
If you have a fully painted army the entire tournament you will get 10 bonus points.
Cost is $10
Prize support will be:
1/3 fees goes to highest score
1/3 most games played
1/3 every game you lose you game goes into a raffle, every hour of the tournament we draw a name and you get a prize.
First game will start at 10:30am and games will end at 5:30pm.
I was also thinking no official lunch break, eat when you want.

Cathy says there are is room in the store for 15 4x4 tables. We will have 35 spots so the new game queue will never be longer than 5 players.
Let me know if you have any questions. |

With the new book out, I figured I'd give this a bump.
No better way to learn the game than by playing a ton of games with a wide variety of opponents! |

Maaaaybe. That's my only free weekend this month, which means it's probably already been booked and I just haven't realized it yet. _________________ Rush - Warpstone Pile
