Game Vault in Fredericksburg is holding a tournament on Saturday, September 8. This is a nice game store; I've gone to several of their tournaments. I'll be attending unless something comes up. Here is the information from their website:

Here is the basic information on the Warhammer fantasy tournament on Sept 8th

Time: 10:30am signup dice rolling no later than 11:15am
Cost:$20
Spots: 20
Prize support: an yet to be determined amount from each entry will be taken out for best painted army
1st 50% of remaining monies
2nd 30% fo remaining monies
3rd 20% of remaining monies
Best painted

Here is a link to all the rules and scenario's. Please note that I am allowing special characters with the exception of those listed in the rules as banned. Also there are a few banned magic items. If I decied that this list needs to have more entries on it I will do this before Saturday Sept 1st in order to allow people to change their list accordingly.

If you are a member of another gaming forum site please post a link to this link so that we might be able to get more players.

See everyone on Sept 8th.

But I may may the attempt.

Does the ruleset come in any other format? My old ass comp, phone and IPad don't seem to like the google doc thingee. Just opens to a blank page??

I had to ask the tournament organizer to e-mail it to me. . . .

Is there an easy way for me to post it to this forum?

You shouldn't have any trouble posting the link. It's just that the link is a bad link. I looked at the GV forum, and the link there's a bad link, too.

Not a terrible drive. Since I can't go to the NOVA open, this sounds like a good idea.

Yeah, if that link would work and I could look at the rules I may be down. If painting is any part of overall score then I am most definitely out.

I got the TO to e-mail them to me. I cannot figure out how to post them, so I've just cut and pasted them into this e-mail. Not very readable, but gives you enough of an idea that you can determine if you want to go.

Since painting isn't that big a deal I think I could be in on this. 2200 though means no Mazdamundi...

It turns out I'm free that weekend! I just don't know if I'll be warhammered out after the NOVA.
