As I was pouring my coffee that I made in my kitchen, hearing the large screen TV from the other room, an avoiding the irobot vacuum cleaner gluiding across the floor, I realized I was living in the futuristic world that was in my child hood comics from the 60s

Until there's a permanent moon base and teleportation, I won't be satisfied. 
Seriously, we do live in a pretty fantastic world, tech-wise. When I was a kid, the Internet didn't even exist, let alone be accessible through a device you can hold in one hand. I just wish that social advances could keep up with technological advances. We have instant global communication, yet people still want to blow each other up because they're the "wrong" color/religion/sect/ideology etc. How can Humanity be so smart and so abominably stupid all at the same time?
