Date: Saturday, February 19th
Time: 10:30am signup, 11am start
Fee: $10
Format: 2,500 points
We have the player base now so show up!!! I'm excited for this. We'll discuss details for a league at this tournament so you should try to make it at lunch if you can't make the tournament. Lunch will be around 1pm.
We'll run this 3 rounds at 2 hours each.
You must use the same army list for each game. The armies will use the requirements and allowances for 2,500 point armies (i.e. 25% Core
Choices, no more than 25% Lords allowed, etc.). Armies don't have to be painted but you know your dice will roll better if all your figures are painted. You will not win best painted unless your entire army is painted. WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) is in effect. For characters all weapons and armor should be modeled. Units must have a majority of the models making up a unit armed correctly (it is permissible per the main rules to have a minority of the models armed differently). Remember that for wizards with a choice of magic lores you must indicate which lore each wizard will be using for the entire tournament on your army list. We will not allow special, named, or unique characters (Teclis, Queek, Archaon, etc). If you have any questions about specific characters, contact Milton for a ruling.
Prizes:
1st place: 50% of entry fees as a gift certificate
2nd place: 30% of entry fees as a gift certificate
3rd place: 15% of entry fees as a gift certificate
Last place: dice
Best painted: 1 can of Army Painter Primer or 1/2 off a can of Army Painter dip
We have space for 26 people. _________________ There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged.
One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs. |
