Well it looks like I will be moving down to Charlottesville in July. I'm about to be offered a really nice job down there, and believe it or not something i'm most anxious about is, "How the hell will I game without these guys." I know I've been absent for a while, but I seriously think we have an outstanding group of guys here, and I've known a lot of you for a long time. Hell, some of you have seen me and Cody grow up! hahah.
Anyways I know Ben lives in Culpeper off of 15, but do any lurkers live down in Charlottesville? Is there any quality gaming stores down there where I could play? I've already decided i'll come up at least once a month to play, and i'll still be coming for tournaments, but I needs me a location down there.
And yes, I now I can google it, but i'd rather use our combined nerd power to point me to the best place. |

There's at least one shop down there on 29 that has a table or two to play on. I remember stopping by to buy modeling supplies while I was going to school. I remember Magic being popular there, but never saw anyone using the tables. Could be I just wasn't there at the right time.

I know there are folks out in Harrisonburg that play. _________________ Rush - Warpstone Pile

I've seen 40k tournaments held in Charlotesville and have actually attended a 40k tournament in Harrisonburg (The Lost Shade.)
However finding dedicated Fantasy players is more difficult. There's a group in VA Beach. Otherwise Fredricksburg's game vault might be the next closest. Good Luck! |
