1850 points, 3 games, using NOVA Open rules. I can speak for these guys. They are a good group, friendly, and lenient. There is a painting award (I think...), but painting is not counted towards the overall winner (just battle points). We had about 10 players last time, so come on out and play some games. You can call them to register or just show up the day of.

Registration at 10:00, first game at 10:30. $15 entry and the money is split in gift certificates. There is room for 24 players. Plenty of space for walk-ins.

So, you say they are tolerant towards unpainted, but what is the policy on WYSIWYG? Because I am a shameless metagaming tool, I plan on running lots of special weapons and other garbage, some of which I don't have. Not talking "This penal legionnaire counts as a space marine" but more like "This heavy flamer is actually a melta gun"

When I played in the last tournament, they kept insisting that I could run my crisis suits with whatever guns I wanted as long as it was easy to tell what was what. I ran them as-is for my opponent's sake.

Just so everyone knows, I talked to the organizer and he said that if your models aren't WYSIWYG, that's fine, just make it obvious what they are from the other side of the table, via a tag, note or obvious difference on the model.

This was a really fun time. And just as an FYI to anyone else, they are trying to do this once a month. I believe the next one is September 15th.

Agreed. Great turn-out this time and lots of good armies for tournament practice. Grats to Casey going 3-0 and coming in second place. A killer Eldar serpent/wraithknight army ended up massacring all three opponents. For those going to NOVA, I suspect this will be a popular build so be ready to kill wraithknights and lots of AV12 vehicles.
