Smaller Bash Tournament at Huzzah Hobbies
• May 17, 2014 – Warhammer Fantasy Battle Tournament – 2000 points
• $15 entry includes prizes for top three finishers and players choice best painted army. If enough people show up there may be a 5th prize determined by the TO.
• 10:00 am registration, 10:30 am parade of armies, 10:45 start time. 3 2.5 hour rounds.
• No special characters.
• All Armies must be fully painted.
• Forgeworld Chaos Dwarfs are allowed but you MUST bring the army book.
• Instant kill spells do d3 wounds to characters. Multi-wound monsters, monstrous infantry; monstrous cavalry suffer death as normal.
• Victory Points are calculated using the method used in the Warhammer Fantasy Rule Book, using the following exceptions below.
• Victory Points are earned on a 1 for 1 basis regardless of what troops of yours die. You kill 900 points of troops and get 1200 of your own killed off you get 900 points and your opponent gets 1200. The player with the most points at the end of the day wins!
• Units that are at 25% or less of their original models yield 50% VP's to the opponent (characters, monsters and handlers, war machines and single models are unaffected.)
• Units that are fleeing at the end of the battle yield 50% VP's to the opponent.
• Current FAQ’s will be used. Bring a copy of your army list for the TO, preferably in Army Builder or Quartermaster format. This will be an open list tournament.
• If a new army book is released it must be out for 4 weeks prior to the tournament to be used. If it hasn’t been released for 4 weeks the prior version is allowed.
• Dawn Attack
o Deploy with the Dawn Attack map but do not use random deployment. Instead each player deploys as normal (taking turns putting units down) until complete. Each player must deploy at least two units in each deployment area. If a player doesn’t have enough units to deploy at least two in each then they may choose which areas to only have one. Roll off for first turn as in Battle Line and ignore the language about stealing initiative.
o At the end of the game if one player has a unit with fortitude within six inches of the center of the board and the other player does not than that player gains 600 VP’s. If both players have units with fortitude within six inches of the center of the board each player gains 300 VP’s.
• Round 2- Blood and Glory
o Play six full turns
o First player to break their opponent receives an additional 600 VP’s. Second player to break their opponent recievs 300 Round 1 – Modified VP’s.
• Round 3 – Battle Line
o Gain 100 additional VP for each enemy character slain. Gain an additional 100 VP per character if you slay it in a challenge.
o Gain 250 VP if your BSB is still alive at the end of the game. If you don’t have a BSB you automatically gain these points.
o Gain 250 additional VP if you captured more standards than your opponent. _________________ I lose cause I can |
