Updated on the IFL forum tourney thread:
Proxies and Painting: Given Highlander is a new format we anticipate most folks will be scrambling to find units to employ so we will allow proxying and unpainted models for this RTT. Note that proxies must be same size/base as the actual model and must be marked in a way so that the opponent is not confused.

Hey, is it too late for me to sign up? I'll be around FBC sometime this week hopefully, and I want to check and see if I can still sign up before I show with my $15 in my pocket. Highlander sounds fun, and it gives me an excuse to pull out my Eldar with my Marines. :3

Reminder to players: You will need to bring 4 copies of your list as well as tape measure, templates, rules/codexes, objective markers, scatter dice, and of course... Your army!
We have 13 players signed up with 9 more spots open so sign up soon. Walk ins the day of are welcome but priority will go to those who signed up on the IFL forum.

** Updated tourney results and link on Dec 15th to reflect 2nd and 3rd place finishers **
So we had a good mix of folks (18 players) from former GT winners to a completely new 7th ed player. Three rounds using 11th CO GT missions, awesome terrain courtesy of NOVA Open, and Torrent of Fire scoring.
45 Battle Points possible and we used missions #1-3. W-L was just used for The ONE. BP were used for the other awards.

The IRON Fist went to Jesse Newton 3-0 and 41 BP fielding BA (yes!!!) and Imperial Knights - Jesse had the option of winning The ONE or the IRON Fist and he of course chose the fist.
The ONE went to Mike Brandt 3-0 and 38 BP fielding Eldar and IG
2nd place after The IRON Fist and The ONE went to Justin Cox who also went 3-0 and earned 34 BP fielding Necrons
3rd place went to Matt Cerino 2-1 with 36 BP (the most besides Mike and Jesse) fielding SM and SW
The Players Choice (best painted) went to Dave Gonzales fielding a sharp Eldar army
NOT the IRON Fist went to Steve Schweitzer fielding a Tau force
All won store credit and the four named awards earned a cool trophy suitable for placement on the family mantle!
Special thanks to Neil Gilstrap for serving as the point man for refining this cool format and serving as the TO.
Speaking of refining, we are looking for feedback to improve this format - send comments, questions, loopholes, etc to Neil (his email is further back in the IFL thread) or just post on the IFL thread.
Finally, if there is interest we may look to hold another RTT at FBComics early next year in Feb and a reminder that Huzzah will hold an RTT the last Sat in Jan so check it out! Anticipate a Huzzah RTT post on this forum from Elphilo in the coming few weeks.
