Qualifying for the Masters in the Mid-Atlantic, 2015
The following events are part of the Mid-Atlantic Circuit for 2015:

Colonial Carnage (February)
Brawler Bash (March)
ILL GT (July)
Southern Assault (September)
CGL GT (October)
Grail Quest (November)

Any player, regardless of residency, who plays in the Mid-Atlantic Grand Tournament Circuit is eligible to represent the Mid-Atlantic at the US Masters. Any player who is not a resident of the MA during the year qualifies in another region, must represent the other region.

The points awarded to each player at each event will be determined by the following formula:
Score = (Attendees-Placement+1)/Attendees*100 – (100/Attendees – 1). This allows for smaller tournaments to still matter in overall rankings. Players will be ranked based on their three highest scores throughout the year. The highest ranking player at the end of the GT season will be crowned the Mid-Atlantic Overlord.

The top eight eligible players in the region at the end of the GT season will be invited to represent the MA in the US Masters. If a player cannot attend, the next highest rank player will be invited in his place.

In order to encourage our players to visit and play in other regions, players who attend at least three Mid-Atlantic GT's substitute one non Mid-Atlantic GT score in as one of their three GT scores for rankings purposes if they so choose. For example, Player A, who attends Coastal Carnage, Brawler Bash and Southern Assault can exchange a finish at Quake City Rumble for one of those scores. The cut off for out of region event score submission is the last GT of the season (Grail Quest this year). Out of Region GT's must have a minimum of fifty players in order to count as an out of region score.

Each Mid Atlantic Season runs from the end of the last MA event; till the following final MA event in the circuit, the next year.

Yeah, I hope CGL members take special note of that October event!

Let this be an invite to share your ideas or suggestions on how to make our first 2 day event a success that keeps people coming year after year. Topic is in the Fantasy Discussion section.
