What do I need to do to set up a tournament on a Saturday at GPC? We should have an AoS event of some kind. _________________ Warhammer 40K 7th edition games (W-D-L):

You probably should speak with the store owners Rob or Cindy, (703 803-3114) they can post something at the register to try to get some additional players for you.
We (CGL) have 3 of the four tables reserved on Saturday's so space should not be an issue, again, Rob or Cindy could make arrangements to get you the 4th table if needed.
Make a post here in this section, post any rules, army comp, or entry fee's and ask for sign-ups.
Actually, you might want to start by posting here and see what kind of response you get before deciding to run a tourney
Good luck |

I second Gene's last statement. Good luck. I don't think the system is geared toward tournament play. Fun games, sure, but I don't think you'll get a good turn out for a tournament. _________________ Thanks,

It would be a just for fun thing. I wouldn't expect it to be a high strategy kind of thing, just an event to play 3 games and learn the rules. I'll make a post and see who would play from the forums. _________________ Warhammer 40K 7th edition games (W-D-L):

I didn't take it that way. I know you are frustrated with things, and justifiably so. You have a big investment in this game and it just got completely redone. It is easier for me to take because I already play 40K and am used to skirmish games like this. I'm just giving it a fair chance and maybe it will turn into something good. _________________ Warhammer 40K 7th edition games (W-D-L):

This is my take. I don't know if it's good or bad or mediocre, but I'd like to find out. And the only way to do that is to step away from expectations founded in WHFB and give it a try.
Anyway: as I mentioned in the other thread, I'm interested. Not sure how the 22nd came up, but I can do the 29th. _________________ Rush - Warpstone Pile
