Hey guys,
The wife and I have been talking about hosting a regular D&D game at our place in Fairfax.
Richard has talked up 4th Edition and the rules seem fun enough. They seem to be more playable than 3rd while having a lot more options and tactics than 2nd.
We would want to start out with just the core books and maybe the 2nd PHB. One of the things that really put me off on 3rd was that my few experiences with it involved big bags of books and combinations of insane abilities. I'd like to avoid this.
Friday evenings or Sunday afternoons are preferable and we'd want to meet up twice a month or so.
Anyone interested? |

I was allways a 3.5 type of person, including pathfinder.
I found in my games of 4th edition that you need note cards with piles of 'per day' abilities for everys ingle class.
I was honestly confused for a while with how to excecute a normal attack, instead of endless "SUPER BLOWS!!!!'
But maybe i just had a bad experience. Im willing to try most things more then once of course. _________________ Kevin C

I was just telling someone that D&D something I've always wanted to do, but never really fell into the right group of people at the right time.
I'd be very interested. _________________ Gun control is leaving your demonsmith engineers close enough to re-roll the scatter on your artillery. |
