Check it out at:

Rich had our high score overall. Seems to be a trend here.

Pretty annoyed with myself - I had a tie for second in battle points IF I had called out my last opponant who "accidentally" added up his score wrong.

No big deal, really, since the tie-breaker for ICG is always paint scores for some reason, and I managed the second-lowest paint score somehow. I know it wasn't great, but I saw a number of armies worse than mine.

Yeah Bill!

You were not last! You were not last!

Given that I was 1/3, that's a damned shame. Ugh.

I'm... extremely displeased with the way paint judging was conducted. Not the checklist, mind you, the mid-game judging is something that was seriously uncool.

Ya, I didn't like the mid game judging either. Although I didn't fair to badly on the score, so maybe I liked it Wink

Otherwise I enjoyed the whole thing. I will plan to return next year. Hopefully get a victory or 2 more than this year Rolling Eyes I

I am looking at some of the paint scores and there are some things that
don't add up. I am not complaining about mine, but there are some
who were sub par that got way better scores than those that were
well done.

Yeah, I didn't like the paint judging either. For once, I actually wanted to do well, since there were others involved plus those that I painted. It was themed and I made a damn fine board/box! Mad There were conversions and such, too. Not my fault that my opponent killed so many that they were on the box on the floor when he came by and picked up one model and didn't say a word to me OR my opponent. Rolling Eyes I do like the way that Colonial does it where they actually sit down with you to judge.

The O&G took top and bottom. The one on top was all goblins. See what having orcs in your army gets you? The bottom. Spiders get you second from bottom. Wink Razz

Only 20 for 40k? In Fantasy, it seemed to be out of 40... Or, the equivalent of turning 4 massacre losses into 4 minor wins. Don't make a ton of sense to me, I gotta say - especially when I'm being judged in a 2-minute drive by during round 6.

Wooo ho! I all can say is yeah for painting scores, which moved me to the top half and gave me a three way tie with Rich for best painted. Congrats Rich!

Though, I agree with the sentiment about the paint judging process. I really didn't care for they way they went about judging the scores mid-game.

I am really curious though. I think I saw the best wining demons army, but does anyone have a picture of the second place finisher for painting, Adam Tidwell's dwarves?

I absolutely accept that mine wasn't the best painted, but I thought I had the best dwarves?

Congrats to all!

Scott's Daemons are pretty hot [censored]; I'd link to pics of it from the NOVA, but they _still_ have yet to post the Fantasy pictures. He had a neat board with some freehanding and a sculpted Keeper of Secrets.
