I have cleared December 3rd on my personal calendar, and checked with GPC and (pending Ben's approval Rolling Eyes

) the date should be set.

I am excited to run an army-swapping event, but have gotten some push-back from others who are not as excited about the concept. I am going to set out my arguments in the voting thread about why this will rock, and I'll set up a voting tab in the voting section. If it turns out that the army-swapping concept is going to keep people from playing in this charity event, then I'll do the right thing and switch over to a bring-your-own tourney. However, even if I run a BYO tourney, the rules will be wacky and victory points won't mean squat. If that is also going to keep people away from a charity tournament, then I will step aside and let anyone else who wants to pick it up do so.

Arguments pro and con are welcome in the voting thread. I think it'll be easiest to keep all of the replies there.
