Once again, we prove how "compy" our group is. We're the Powder Puff League of Warhammer. _________________ Thanks,

It's a testament to the effectiveness of even a Masque-less Ld bomb list that you can be literally too drunk to count and still flip a Skaven player over a barrel. _________________ Rush - Warpstone Pile

We must say never again. Build your cheesy list today while
you still have the taste in your mouth. I have already started.
I am going to get a nice plaque like Rush's that has my name
and army on it, and it will say I am playing High Elves so suck
it and stop crying.

I'm torn. It's a great idea on paper, but it was as hot and humid as South Texas, the concrete floors were punishing, and I didn't have enough time between games to have a cigar and beers. _________________ Rush - Warpstone Pile

that's because you didn't employ Bill's strategy.
It was hot, it was humid, the food was unbelievably cheap while it lasted, and it was fun overall. I'll go back as long as they keep the rules simple. _________________ Thanks,

Play faster, with a win or a loss

Given that the forecast on Friday was for rain all day on Saturday, I thought the weather was actually pretty pleasant. Of course I was expecting much worse.
As far as the food, I agree with Bill and Ben, I thought what they had was pretty good, and particularly good for the price.
The rounds started and ended on time. Also I liked their use of a projector to display the pairings (as opposed to everyone huddling around a single printout). I thought that the hosts were really pretty well organized, at least as far as WHFB was concerned.
The only thing I would do differently could I do it over again was to remember to throw a folding chair into my car like I had plan to the evening before. Standing on the concrete that long did leave me feeling pretty sore by the end of the night.
All things considered, I am pretty certain that I will plan on going again next year. _________________ All hail, WARHAMMER is Dead. Long live WARHAMMER!

My day started off playing a guy who flew in from California to play in the event. He had daemons. Nice guy and said that he knew Charlie. He beat the dog crap out of me getting 3100 vp's to my 170. I said, "yep, you do know Charlie".
So my day could have only gone up from that...or at least it didn't get any worse. _________________ Thanks,

I am not sure what to think about the idea that simply knowing me grants people the ability to pound face, but I'm flattered I guess?
If he was a really big guy, that was probably Quentin. I guess it could have been Lee, but I don't think he plays Daemons.
I take no responsibility for any army lists, but if I can become some sort of Warhammer Yoda in California, then I can live with that.

Yes, it was Quentin. Really nice guy to play. You've done well, Master Yoda. _________________ Thanks,

Good to see all of you guys again, and I'll definitely try to push for a regular Saturday pass or two before the end of the year.
Very happy I brought chaos dwarves instead of daemons. Instead of being disappointed at 3-1, I'm actually quite satisfied.
